eats a lot of cereal.
My path to product management combines design, business, and tech. I started a one person design agency in grade 8,
discovered a passion for business through finance competitions, and picked up coding along the way. Product
management ties all these interests together, letting me create meaningful solutions that balance
creativity, strategy, and technology.
With a UX background, I’ve learned that great products start with empathy. It's all about understanding both
the user problem and the context around it. In my current role as a UX designer at the WSIB Innovation Lab,
I’ve taken on product responsibilities, leading the development of MVPs to improve workflows and deliver
value to customers.
I love working with different teams—whether it’s developers, marketing, legal, or product. Knowing a bit of
business, some coding, and a lot about design helps me connect the dots and keep everyone on the same page.
I think of myself as a generalist with a strong focus on design and systems thinking, which lets me dive
deep into creative work while still contributing to other areas. This mix makes it easier to turn ideas into
real products that work well for both users and the business.
Congratulations and very well done to our young team leader, innovator, and designer.
