In my quest to keep learning about new things in the world of business, UX, and tech, I decided to start this blog to write about everything from theory to case studies I witnessed in real life.

03. My Product Compass

a.

Adaptability

While building a product, tunnel vision can make it easy to forget the end user's goals, needs, and the context surrounding them. I believe in constant iteration and user testing to validate that the product still meets user requirements.

b.

Balance

During ideation, I like to foster creativity and come up with ambitious solutions. Later, with designers and engineers, I convert imaginative ideas into realistic, feasible solutions. It's about balancing ambition with practical considerations in terms of technology, time, and budget.

c.

Context

Understanding the user is key, but grasping the broader context is equally vital. Delving into users' behaviors ensures our product aligns realistically with their lives. It's not just about solving problems; it's about understanding the ecosystem in which the solution thrives.

I've been so lucky to have Gaurav by my side at UW Blueprint. He is always someone whom I can rely on without even needing to ask. I have seen him take different roles such as Designer, Product Manager and Vice President of Product and pour in all his effort and energy into them to succeed and help others around him succeed.
